Let me ask you a question,…
What’s the main reason 95 out of 100 people who get to their desired weight gain it back afterwards?
Well, here’s the real answer.
The issue is not whether they were following a specific diet or for how long they did it,… the issue is they see dieting as a specific event to do.
Let me explain.
When someone wants to lose weight, the first they look for is “the diet” that’s going to help them lose the weight they want to get rid off.
As they have probably tried other things before that didin’t work, they start exploring other options.
But once they found something that sounds interesting and that sounds like a miracle diet, they are willing to ‘sacrifice’ a couple of weeks/months under that diet…
In the end, it’s temporary until they reach their desired physique, right?…
And that’s the problem.
If you want to be the exception to the rule of the people who lose weight yet gain it all back after going on a caloric deficit, you need to see this as a marathon rather than as a sprint.
That means, you have to pay attention to the approach you follow.
It doesn’t matter what diet you follow if at the end of the day you cannot stick to it long enough.
And by long enough, I mean the rest of your life.
Believe it or not, making a change in your lifestyle with the diet you follow will be the determining factor of whether you keep the weight you you lose or not.
Sure, when you have that nailed down then you can rest assure that a reverse diet is the best way to eat at your new maintenance calories while minimizing the weight you gain, but…
I wanted to make it clear that doing a reverse diet comes after you have chose what’s right for you.
